Lyndsay and Kevin’s Magnolia Plantation Wedding
Once again, it was another Magnolia Plantation wedding that really set the bar. The team was so fortunate to work with the sweetest, most laid back couple. Both Lyndsay and Kevin just wanted to party and that is my style. Their guests came from all over the globe to join them here in Charleston, South Carolina and I was more than honored to be their wedding DJ. It’s always fun to show people from all over how we rock out here in the low country. Every Magnolia Plantation wedding is a bit different but the design elements were incredible and the A-list vendor team assembled by the ladies of Pure Luxe Bride was pure talent.
Three Venue Options For A Magnolia Plantation Wedding
If you haven’t considered a Magnolia Plantation wedding, its a great option with a lot of perks. The history of the plantation itself is very fascinating as well. It’s roots dates back to 1676 when the Drayton family made it their home. A couple hundred years later, the family began allowing visitors to experience the incredible property with its thousands of fresh flowers and famous romantic gardens. To date, the plantation is known as being America’s oldest public gardens and overall boasts over 500 acres of landscape design and gardens. If you enjoy history and appreciate this type of feel, a Magnolia Plantation Wedding might be a great option.
Another great things about this massive property is that it has multiple venues. The smallest being an indoor green house referred to as the Conservatory. This space is a great fit for those who enjoy natural, simple pleasures. The second and certainly most popular is the Carriage House which is surrounded by massive live oaks and sites on the bank the banks of the Ashley River. A 3rd option would be Southern romantic Plantation House Veranda which offers panoramic views of the many gardens and is situated right in the heart of the plantation. There are so many options when considering a Magnolia Plantation wedding and its no wonder why it has become one of the busiest venues in Charleston, SC. Another venue we will be looking at is The Gadsen House so stay tuned!
